High Desert Astronomy Club Inc. (HDAC) has been in existence for 16 years as a club, and is a 501 (c) (3) Nonprofit Organization.
HDAC is helping the younger generation of the Kingman Unified School District with the RECON to determine the of asteroids in the Kuiper belt.
We hold our meetings every month at KRMC, a local hospital.
HDAC is advising the local community college with their on-campus observatory project.
We hold Public Star Parties at a local park so the community can get involved with astronomy.
HDAC is purchasing a 5 acre Dark Sky site 15 miles outside of Kingman, AZ for the enjoyment of our members and the invited public.
